@Monkeypumper420 dude thats AWESOME! i just ordered my DC alt like weeks ago and did the big three with 2/0 :D i can't wait!

Ryanorr15@ that's pretty high, but if you wire your stuff right it won't harm anything! Resistors will lower your current from the battery to the amplifier, it's just findingthe same amount with the resistors:)

I have a marine battery that is putting out 18.5 volts. Can anyone tell me how bad that is.

ill put one up to. and for sure i wana see it. and i run my sub at 4 ohms cause its a dual 2 and my amp is 2 ohm stable but at 4 ohms my amp pushes 1600rms and my voltage drops from 16.2 to about 15.9 at full power. im sure if i had it running 2 ohms at 3300rms id be dropping a lil more. im gona try to get a btl dual 1 ohm and put that in my jeep and save my jugg for my next car.
did you do your big three on a stock alt? or does it just sort of look oem, just wondering haha

@scottyBoland, I did do the big three, and yes, this is a stock alternator! It's the bigger one(136 amp Bosch unit, optional when the truck was bought new). Does 15V. Since it has been litterally freezing cold, I have seen as high as 15.3 @ the distro blocks in the back.

Wow dude that is crazy I guess you might not need the module, but idk its up to you! Nice set up with the batteries!

@iloveporn412, yea I got lucky. I have seen a few people get 15 volts outta their alts from doing the big three now. I still want the module though, just so I can get that much more voltage. What do they go for for the kit you have? Also what's the highest voltage you have seen come out of that guy? I'dlike to see a constant 15.5. I think I'd be happy with that! Makes for fast battery charging.

@Monkeypumper420 im still geting 14.4volts all time

@yamahabanshee350, That's near perfect voltage man. That's technically where it's supposed to sit. Anything UP TO 15v is safe, but you start boiling out the electrolyte in the batteries above that voltage. Below 14.4, your batts are not getting fully topped off, and after a while of not topping them off, they tend to sulfate. Your right where your supposed to be bro.
