When walking keep most of thre leash in your other hand leaving 2 feet between you and the dog. When you tell him sit make sure he sits on the side. he should get it in a few weeks if trained every day.

We've got a lab gundog pup who's still having trouble getting the heel behind the knee, he's staying a little infront, any tips?
