Can this TIA type of stroke happen to a 21 year old female who smokes? My daughter had an episode yesterday where she "felt like she was hanging upside down in a tree" she said her veins were popping out in her neck. Her face was very red and her eyes "looked like they were bleeding. She also said that she woke up in the morning with her vision very blurred (which lasted for about 2 hours). When the episode occured around noon that day, her speech was slurred and she felt numb. lasted 2 hrs.
