the context is a discussion about negotiating with sfo workers and bart, a conversation that wasn't going to occur over the weekend.

fang was being blamed for targeting sfo workers with the new surcharge, when the intent was to spread the fare increases to different groups. he was not saying this to screw the workers, but as a self deprecating way that he was being unfairly characterized, when a solution with sfo workers was available

I have tried to dig deeper. Guess what? I'm not finding anything substantial. If the ATU wants sympathy from the riders, find someone who can relay your side in a cohesive and credible manner. So far, all the rhetoric I see/hear officially from the ATU and its leader is just pure rubbish. Listening to Jesse Hunt answer to reporters is like listening to Sarah Palin answering to reporters!

Um RAPP 81 instead of buying into all of one sided coverage against BART Workers why not dig a little deeper and find out what the issues are before siding with management and hating on the workers! It ain't about money it's about BART wanting to union bust and crying poor at the same time to win over uninformed people like you
