congratulations mom and dad. Good job. Not really an emergency, though. Hundreds of mothers in the U.S. choose to birth their babies at home, alone, every year. A cord around the neck is not life threatening, either. Actually it's pretty common and you did the normal thing, just unwrap it. Now you know you can save the doctor bills next time and just stay home on purpose!
