Rabbi Weiss Rips the Ideology of Zionism

On May 4, 2009, a protest demonstration against AIPAC was held outside the convention center, where it was meeting in Washington, D.C. The mega-Israel Lobby convenes annually in this city. One of those speaking out at the anti-AIPAC rally was Orthodox Rabbi Yisroel Dovid Weiss. He is associated with "Orthodox Jews United Against Zionism," and is a member of "Neturei Karta International." Israel is a fifth of 1% of the size of the arab world, and only expanded in wars of self defence. It's still a tiny country that is much smaller than for example, the state of Texas. And the Arabs of mandatory palestine already have a state called Jordan, much bigger than Israel, 70% of the british mandate.. Now they want a second palestinian state, and for Jews to have nothing.

Most Jews aren't neturei karta. If Jews were stripped of rights, Neturei Karta would not fight for equal rights. That aspect is not of practical relevance since Jews -do- have equal rights as citizens in the countries that they reside. But where what they say is of practical relevance, is the idea that Jews have no right to self determination and to be sovereign in their homeland. That is discrimination against Jews that has some support by powerful players..

@boliussa 'guests' or immigrants of equal right and power? are irish americans guests in USA?  does it appear like jews in US are powerless non-citizens? moreover, jews do have israel granted by international law in '48. should they keep expanding into other people's countries? is that more compassionate by your brand of judaism? are jews guests in iran, with parliament representatives, being wealthy and successful, loved and respected?

It is not compassionate to say Jews should be powerless and have no right to be a sovereign people in their land. It is discrimination against Jews. His brand of Judaism denies Jews rights and just says you're guests in every place not like citizens with rights like everybody else.

Yes we know that, Jews are living in Iran in peace and happiness but the brainwashed masses by the western media should wake up. Zionists are the biggest threat to Jews as well, since for the past 60 years they have created a lot of hatred for the Jews by committing all this evil acts worldwide & against Palestinians, people like me (Iranian Shia's) we know what is going on, but not everybody has the ability to have discretion so what happens is they develop hate against all the Jews.

No Unfortunately I think he might be right. Even in the O.T. their were Jews who craved a powerful secular state. Solomon was not to suppose to multiply horses because it meant he would be building a standing army. He did it anyways and later he be came so corrupted that he was associated with the number 666.

i love rabbi weiss. i wish i could be his student even though i'm not jewish. he is a compassionate, non-materialistic man of God. a teacher like this and all people of all religions would respect him and his guidance. all loving and peaceful people of the world must unite against the violent, greedy minorities who divide and conquer us.
