@mbleft Thanks. My most recent ride suggested that, but if I can't see the gravel, I'm assuming it's there! Now, I'll be more confident with it.

It's fine now, when they first put that surface on there its no good at all. takes awhile for traffic, cars and trucks, to bed the gravel in. not the best, but thats what they do. it's got major grip now.

I'm surprised that truck pulled over for you. They never do that for me. Was out there last weekend. Great road just gotta be real careful. Nice video.

The second part of the road, with the new black top, seems a little freaky to me. Do you trust the surface? When they first laid it down, the loose gravel was the same color as the road surface; I haven't really trusted it since then. (FYI No, I did not fall)
Even now, I have the feeling that the contact patch is not really stuck.
