After getting a nomination for best small club event last year we're uber keen to try and improve on that and bring one of the the fabled breakspoll trophies back home to Manchester. Not only that our very own curator Steve Thorpe has been added to the shortlist for outstanding contribution to breakbeat, an award won last year by the one and only Krafty Kuts !

Anyway not to ramble on to much but below are some suggestions of whats hot in some of the voting categories :)

GO LOWDOWN!!! ive spent most months in sound control since the very first lowdown,easily some of the best nights of my life with a amazing crowd and venue with brill acts--- its sad im too far away to go to the nights at the moment but once im back near Manchester the first place i will be hitting is lowdown! good on Craig and Steve for setting it up :-) LOWDOWN TO WIN! goood luck i will be voting for you guys! :-) xx
