GFS Fat Pat/Dream 180 Clean Demo

Here's a short demo of the GFS Fat Pat Bridge and Dream 180 Neck pickups from www.guitarfetish.com. It's the same riff played through the following pickup positions:

1. Fat Pat Bridge Humbucker
2. Fat Pat Bridge Humbucker (Split)
3. Dream 180 Neck Humbucker
4. Dream 180 Neck Humbucker (Split)

I played an Ibanez S570B through the Digitech RP500's Roland JC-120 amp and Fane 4x12 cab models. No other effects were used except for a little reverb.

I used Adobe Audition CS 5.5 for recording and Windows Live Movie Maker to make this video.

Was the tone on full with the dream 180...it sounds a bit muffled.

The Fat Pat sounds awesome btw. I was expecting it the other way around especialy with coil tapping

@Sebasstian86 Yes, the tone was on full with the Dream 180 but I haven't seriously played around with the pickup heights at the time I made this demo. It's no longer muffled now.

But yes, the Fat Pat is an awesome pickup. If only I wasn't selling this guitar, I would go get the one for the neck position because the Dream 180 is a bit too thick sounding compared to it. :)

By the way, as far as I know, any pickup with four conductor wires can be coil tapped. :)

How can you split the fat pat? it doesnt say its split coil able on the site.
