Please read the description.

For our final talent show of our high school life, we performed "Baba O'Riley" by The Who at Oxford Academy's "Casino Royale" Talent Show 2007 (in Cypress, CA).

We decided to play this song because we knew it was the perfect way to leave our mark as Seniors. This was a difficult song to master, especially with nine people on stage. However, in short time, we collaborated our minds into what became a huge success this year.

We finally won 1st Place in the Talent Show this year, after competing for four years straight. And we couldn't have done it without these very talented players:

Jimmy Zhong - Drums/Clarinet
Kevin Lee - Drums
Eugene Yoon - Vocals/Bass
James Lee - Lead Guitar
Joseph Chung - Guitar/Pedal Board
Andrew Nguyen - Guitar
Abel Berhanu - Bass/Guitar Solo
Sam Chung - Bass/Crash Cymbal
Matt Brodnick - Keyboard/Talkbox

Thanks to everyone that supported us at the Talent Show all these years. We will remember this experience for the rest of our lives.

  • Pretty good version. Clarinet interesting giving it an Indian feel? I really was expecting someone to knock over the drums or smash a guitar with the energy you guys had.

  • More like an eastern european feel. We didnt have a violin, and we dropped down to the key of D, so clarinet worked better.

  • 2 drum kits and 5 guitars?? really guys? really???

  • The real question is, why not?

  • Because it hardly seems necessary.

  • Unnecessary, yes. Awesome factor, yes.

  • a little peter framptonony with the talk box there.

  • i think two drummers are completely unnecessary...drummers already have to bang as loud as possible because they think they are the most important part of the band...why have two? they drown the piano out in the beginning and everything else in the rest of the song. also, leaving out the synth intro kind of defeats the purpose of covering this song...decent end solo although you should have used a harmonica. Also, you could use these 'extra' members on auxiliary instruments...

  • holy shit can you not hear?!

  • I think you could have used six or seven more guitarists.

  • Proof that the only decent Asian rock singer is Sek Loso.

  • @pack3344 I always felt that the original electric violin had a Middle Eastern feel.

  • woah, a band with 3000 members.

You look more like the china philarmonic.

    :D

Change that fucking singer,it ruins your work.

  • singer needs to hold the notes Higher lol. drums were off too... Guitars were good mostly.

  • look at all those guys :D

  • omg this is eargasmic. i love the black dude and the drummer, low key coolness
