a tent can get rain, hail and other stuff. Who would want to be going from a 500,000 house to hurricane then a tent with no beds. a tent after a hurricane is not a good idea, or any emergency. lightning can strike twice

I double many people affected either paid for their house up front or paid 500k for it. A tent is a quick, easy, cheap solution for /temporary/ accommodation. I'm not talking about the tiny one-man tents you pay 20 bucks for, but something large enough to house bunk beds and withstand serious weather.
