China's Underground Catholic Church members must meet secretly lest the government arrest them. There is a Catholic Church led by the Communist Party but most reject it. They want freedom of religion. How much do you value yours? To my Catholic friends. How do you feel about a philosophy of atheism taking over your church, appointing your religious leaders, and imprisoning those who practice non-atheistic catholicism? Don't forget that this is the country and philosophy which now owns a tenth of our national debt thanks to both parties.

@Born2Flesh Your totally ignorant and your just trying to cause a rift where there isn't one. I'm a Catholic and I as all Catholics know Jesus was a Jew. Most Jews have darker skin then your average European. The apostles were Jews too. All Catholics from the beginning have known this. No Catholic doubts it or cares. You try to paint Catholics as racists but no mass or teaching I've been to or read has mentioned race. If theres a racist here its you. Your the one that cant get past it apparently

So what you're telling me is that you simply do not like the catholic church, there for it is wrong in every way. That's ok, I do not like your church, so it's wrong too. All I know is no where in the Catholic church have I even been taught that Jesus was white. And I actually went through the Catechism school unlike YOU, so I actually understand what is taught here in the ORIGINAL Christian church given to us by the apostles themselves =)

They didn't paint a lie, I'm sure most Europeans back then did not paint Jesus a whitish color because they were pretending he was white... You need to get over yourself and stop making up things about the Catholic church. Jesus was brownish, everyone knows it, no one changed the bible (Besides protestants but that's for another reason) and pretending Jesus was from France or something xD It's JUST paintings, people didn't have TV or internet, I dout anyone in Europe hardly saw brown people...

If there is only "Truth" in the church, why paint a lie? Jesus has been devoid of pigment for a long time in Europe. Not only was Jesus devoid of pigment, so is his mother. ...what about the Black Madonna?

Ummm... I'm catholic, and no one ever says that Jesus is European... Sometimes he's just made a white color in paintings or statues, but not cause we're pretending he's white European xD LOL Everyone knows he's not a white kid.
