very interesting, but how much do they cost as i would like to purchase one for my RN-1

XD when u had teh single one on there with 2 little sharp edges on the other side of the hand i was like hmm he should make fingers with liek 4 on each side... then i look in side bar and BAM ITS THERE

perhaps a video of the robot swinging the hammer instead of just a still frame would be more interesting, i mean, seriously, the fact youve built such a device in the first place is amazing, but i think people would enjoy it more

Very nice.
It reminds me a little of the hands on Black Seed, but yours must be more powerful and have a better grip - at least it looks that way from the soccer ball and rope images.

It is a custom made extra-strength aircraft aluminum hand. The cardboard is more of an inside joke, but as a reference-it is a more complete model and useable unlike that of a cardboard model. Furthermore, the various pictures near the end help to show that the hand can hold the entire weight of the robot by a rope, can hold weapons and the robot can swing from the rope. This helps to prove that the hand is a feasible model if one wanted to produce more.
