Daniel, I have a son who has a TBI( he was hit by a car when he was sixteen) He can speak, but barely walk, and suffers similar loneliness, and wishes for a girlfriend( he is now 20)- so we understand how you feel. Just wanted you to know you are not alone, and I wish you all the best

Daniel, I was just watching this video and wanted to send something encouraging. The most amazing man in the world came into my life a few years after his brain injury in 2003. We were the best of friends until 2007 when we got married. Don't give up hope. Your beautiful wife will come.

It helps, to see someone else is overcoming more than I have, even at expense of your having to endure a lot. Thanks for sticking around. I know on many days I damn sure feel like chekcing out.

Sometimes I think maybe the stages I get to wil become permanent. I get laid up for a day or three, but sometimes can function pretty much normally. When I see what you endure, it reminds me others do have more of a struggle & inner strength, & it helps. Since I can function, for most part, farily normally, other than having to get away, when things get bad, I'm mostyl around so-called"normal" people, & often compare my problems with their seeming "lack of problems," or "less" problems.

I only just saw this. Daniel, don't lose hope! If you still haven't yet, I'm sure you'll find the girl of your dreams soon! You're one of the prettiest guys I've ever seen, and you'll meet the girl of your dreams, I know it!

You will find someone special someday! God has a very special woman for you. I will pray for your needs to be met. My little brother suffered from a severe TBI in March 2008. He too is lonely, but I tell him the same thing, it WILL happen! Not just anyone will do. Someone who is incredible is on their way. For you and him! God bless!
