I always thought it arrogant of humans to assume we're the only ones with enough brain power to get shit done to survive.

or that mammals are all as smart as humans because of what humans can do even!
Fish isn't even a monophyletic group.
More annoying are the 'fish can use tools so they're as smart as humans" type. Both can do some intelligent things, doesn't mean they're equally intelligent. People have a problem with qualitative distinctions between things technically in the "same catagory" like tool users.

Wow!! Stunned! If fish have the capacity to plan "I want shellfish... shellfish is closed... If i pick up rock and drop on shellfish, maybe I can eat? Hmmm... where's a nice stone... aha! Great, where was that shellfish again? aha. Ready, aim fire! Oops... too much to the left... let's try again... " This shows clear evidence of at least short-term memory if not mid-term memory, and rather advanced problem solving! In fish!!

Oh yeah the fish is so smart yeah.. that's why it didn't develop thumbs

This makes me really glad I have hands, wrenches and hammers! At the end when the fish was throwing the clam at the large rocks I could see how difficult the whole process was. His aim was off a few times, but I give him points for trying! The other fish were curious about what he was doing, maybe looking to cash in on some clam meat?

I do find it amusing that most of the comments keep making assumptions about "Fish" based on this Video.
It on ly shows one species, that is like saying that if we have a video of a peguin flying through water we can make make assumptions on all birds based on that.
I was free diving.....
