Vaulting requires a tremendous amount of explosive power. Here Mas Wanatabe shows a drill for working the punch off the table and post flight that you can use to increase the number of repetitions you can do by using two spring boards and a pit. Mas Watanabe is currently the vaulting coach for the US National Team.

great drill, and for anyone watching...
this is obviously for higher level gymnast.
for lower levels as a supplement, use a wedge for timing into the pit. Softer, no focus on fear of landing incorrectly.
later on as they level up, introducing the double board will be easy.

I like this drill, its pretty effective. However for those who are first stating of let me just say that you its not as easy as it looks haha..
