  • Love the comments. This was a "FUN"draiser for teeboxes for one of our oldest courses in Houston. This video was just to build some excitement for the event. I'd like to thank all the pro's again for lending me a minute of their time. Stop reading so much into the video. It was a fun day, and we raised a good bit of money for the course.

  • Buzzz versus Roc. The age old debate on what is better. Really, it doesn't make a damn bit of difference. It's the thrower behind the disc.

  • Why didn't they ask any players not sponsored by Innova or Discraft like Nikko

  • @CrazyJesseful ~ That's true their system is less than informative -- this is why I prefer Innova discs, I know what I'm buying when I pick one up.

And it is true that the flight characteristics of a Buzzz and a Roc are nothing alike.

But there's nothing slightly under stable about a Buzzz. There are people who can put so much snap on a disc that even a flat stable or mildly over stable disc will turn over, but that doesn't make the disc slightly under stable.

  • @jhimm Discraft makes excellent discs, but I feel there disc-rating system is seriously lacking in dimension. (and is just plain wrong)

  • Why does the Buzzz always get compared to the Roc? Their flight characteristics are nothing alike. A Buzzz is much more like a Mako (they're shaped almost exactly the same!). Near as I can tell, they're simply both old, beloved models that everyone tends to own, but the "rivalry" is about as meaningful as this video demonstrates -- brand loyalty seems to be far more important than disc characteristics.

  • @CrazyJesseful ~ Buzzz is actually rated at just slightly over, not under, stable.

  • The Buzzz is not a copy of the Roc. If it was intended to be such, then I'm glad the attempt was a failure. Buzzz- straight to understable. Roc- can go straight but overstable. I carry both, always will.

  • @dscjnky I won't say the Buzzz is a copy of the Roc. One is beveled, beaded and domey (Roc) and the other is flat with much smoother rim (Buzzz). Sure they are capable of similar results, but one is not a copy of the other.

They are both great. I carry a KC Roc and a Buzzz SS. They compliment each other very nicely.

  • Roc

  • of course everyone will endorse their sponsors... me personally, my cryztal z buzzz is the best disc i have ever thrown
