mormon doctrine teaches that blacks were once cursed, that their skin came from a mark and that black skin in general is a sign of God's displeasure.

Mormonism teaches that native Americans can become "skin color white" when they become good Christians.

The truth:
Those people in question were never "white" to begin with. Their skins were never changed color. Black skin color has no accursed attribute. White skin color has no blessed attribute.

In the Book of Mormon you can read the story of the white Israelites travelling to the americas. In that country they divided into two nations, the Nephites and the Lamanites. First the Nephites, were "the good" ones, but after a time, the darkskinned "lamanaites" became better than the white Nephites and after a period of peace a big war began and all the whites were killed , because of there unrighteousness!
