Check out freewillpower
Forget solar cells for now, they're for NASA-sized budgets and calculators.

lol If a house is making enough energy to supply itself and still make more power the power company will actually pay you money at the end of the month

Even if this were true (which it is not) $30,000 equates to $125 per month...which is an average electricity bill in TODAY'S DOLLARS AND ELECTRICITY RATES. Therefore, even without ANY inflation, the system pays for itself...what else can you say that about?

first of all its not dangerous because as per UL 1741 solar inverters can not be connected to the grid unless the inverters disconnect from the grid with 16 milliseconds of a grid outage.

"Why do you need to sell your extra power? you are already profiting the amount of your monthly bill."

Uh, first because there is satisfaction in having the govt owe YOU money for a change, and second, it's like bitpackrat said, solar power does carry some replacement costs to it.
