OoB Review: Moonbus from Moebius

Here's another Out of the Box review. This time we take a look at the Skill 3 Moebius release of the Moonbus as featured in 2001: A Space Odyssey.

There are at least two aftermarket kits that bring the accuracy way up on this one and give it a real nice touch. Originally this is an Aurora Model from the late 60's re-popped in mid-2010. Retails around $50 and as with most Moebius kits I've seen is on the pricey side. But the box is packed with plastic -like all the Moebius kits I've seen and if yer a fan of the film, this is a Buy!

@fibrosport If I had A Tyd in stock I would do it w/ the star wars batch coming up after the J2. My local has the new version, but I want the old kit. I think it's bigger than the new.

He destroyed them because he said he did not want any of them to be used in any other movies: EXAMPLE: SILENT RUNNING---elements of that movie are used in that crappy mormon-base junk tv series battlestar garbage...

Haven't seen 2001 in a while, i don't remember when do we see this ship in the movie.

But looks like a nice kit, yep.
