Metal Detecting, Found Big Silver with Garrett Ace 250 and Tesoro Cibola

Went to a park for a short hunt, 2.5K found her first silver, 1953 Franklin and I found my first silver dollar, 1965 Canadian dollar. What an awsome hunt for us both

1953? blimey you guys have no history at all!.

I find coins from the 17th centuary quite regularly and dont think much about it.

Dont mean to knock you,my apols,but detecting is so much different here.

Hi.

I just got a Cibola.

I find that it won't sound for Nickles if the Discriminate setting is at Nickles. I have to keep the Discriminate Knob considerably below Nickles (more towards Iron) for it to sound. Does yours act the same? Any tips with the Cibola, and how do you like it?

@biggstile On mine I just keep it below the nickel line and have no issues with finding nickels. It's a great detector, i love it! Thanks for watching

I found a coin with chinese writing on it. Then I realized I was digging these holes much too deep. Guess my detector is much too sensitive.

I just bought a Garrett 150, and finding allsorts myself and grandson, Its just really great fun to find nearly anything, Up to about £4 uk currency at the moment, and some spent rifle shells,only the 3rd day out. i like your finds, well done.

@carbonbodyworker FINALLY we get to the hateful root of your comment. I just found 3 pieces of silver today from early 1900(Mercury dimes). What did you find today? My Garrett AT Pro was made in the good Ol' USA by a company founded by Charles Garrett another great American. How is the newest country the one to destroy it? Soon we will elect a president who will keep troops in our own country and let yours fend for itself for the first time in history. That should be funny.
