"Tarzan Finds a Son!" was Johnny Weissmuller's fourth MGM film as Tarzan. It was directed by Richard Thorpe in 1939 and also starred Maureen O'Sullivan as Jane; John Sheffield as Boy; Ian Hunter as Mr Austin Lancing; Henry Stephenson as Sir Thomas Lancing; and Frieda Inescort as Mrs Lancing.

Great- thanks for this- I have the movie as well- a favourite- and Weismuller was the ONLY Tarzan worth watching.
Interesting- read about Henry Wilcoxon on wiki- an amazing life- abandoned by parents as a young child, abused, but overcame it all- amazing life. Fine actor as well.

sad that they are all gone now- even johhny Sheffield just last year. They all gave us a lot of enjoyment- thanks for the memories-

Tarzan and Jane were legally married at the end of Buggoughs' 2nd. Tarzan novel, "The Return of Tarzan."
"Boy" and "Cheeta" were Hollywood creations creations that did not exist in the Tarzan novels.

Easy. Because Tarzan and Jane had never been married. Therefore, they had to "find" a baby they could be parents to.

This is the kind of comment I would normally delete. However, I happen to think that the rest of the world needs to know that you guys are out there.
It's my guess that you are a Bible-bashing fan of gentle-Jesus-meek-and-mild, but haven't yet learned the most basic precept of Christianity - do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
