Hi, my family has owned property on Varty Lake since the 1960's, and still does to this day... we love it there! Can you tell me where on the lake this is? Is this the most Southern end? (south of "Snake Island") We are more towards the North end of the lake.

These are movies of my father as a boy, with my grandfather. When I was young, Dad took me camping and did many of these same things with me. Lots of good memories here.... airing bedding on bushes, cooking over a campfire, washing in the river... I still have the old coffee pot in this film, if not the long underwear!
