Yes the 'Western world' creates a lot of media that commodifies a womans sexuality, using her body to encourage people to buy motorized vehicles and such, but it has also given the world Feminism.

The question: Is there as much pro-woman, empowering media in the western world as there is media which degrades her? I think yes.
