"It's the time that you totally screwed up."

Todd pulled away breathless. The small smile turned into a grin as he leaned back in, yearning for the soft lips again. Once his found the others in the darkness, his stomach felt like it had been flipped around, but in a good way.

He felt hands slide down his thigh and bit down on the other person's lip gently, "Eric..." he moaned softly.

The blonde boy chuckled softly and pulled away with a beautiful smile plastered on his face. "Told you I knew how to do you right," he grinned.

"Shh," Todd replied, smiling as he watched Eric trace the number four on his football jersey. When his finger traveled down along the four's branch, he didn't stomach and continue going lower, until he wrapped his his finger in one of Todd's belt loops.

Todd pulled away slightly and looked over at the field from behind the bleachers. He didn't want anyone to see them; he knew what was at stake. And apparently so did Eric, but Todd could tell that he didn't understand it from the hurt look on his face.

"I can't keep doing this, Todd," the blonde haired boy said quietly. "It's killing me..."
"And you think that this is some stroll in the park for me," Todd snapped back. He noticed the team yelling his name and walked out from behind the bleachers before anyone could see. Eric followed behind swiftly. he grabbed Todd's wrist and turned him around so that he was facing him. "We've been going on like this for eight months, I can't take it anymore."

Todd quickly pulled away from him. "Hey," he said harshly, "Not in public! What are you doing? And could you keep quiet."

This stabbed Eric right in the chest. Todd was a good person with a pure heart, but only when around him. Eric didn't like the fact that they had been fooling around for a long time when he had a girlfriend.

"What about Cassie, have you not thought of her?"

Todd's voice emerged and he said, "Of course, but I told you I'm gay. I love you, not her."

"So you're not coming out of the closet any time soon."

Todd just looked at him as if the words he said were sinful. And it was an awful feeling. After coming out of the closet, he had a hard time fitting in school. Some people, like Todd, stood up and supported him but never in public. People treated him like a disease and he was getting tired of it.

"Okay," Eric nodded. "Well, I am. About us. Starting with Cassie and then the team."
A whole lot of emotions erupted in Todd but anger surfaced over all of them. "Don't fuck around with me, Eric--"

"Hey!" Two of the players came toward them. Todd greeted them acting all normal, until one of them mentioned seeing the other come from behind the bleachers. They turned to Eric and laughed at him since he wasn't high enough on the social pyramid.

"What are you doing with gay boy," one of the bigger boys lapsed while letting out a laugh.
Eric looked at Todd knowing he was never going to tell the truth, so it was up to him to do so. But before be could open his mouth, he noticed that Todd beat him to it.

Todd took a few steps away from him so he was standing on their side. "He took me back there and tried to kiss me, man," he stood there and made Eric feel inferior to the world once again like he had many times. This time, not knowing that he pulled the last straw.
