During the momentous events in Berlin in 1989, they worked as news reporters for Russian media. Twenty years on AFPTV talks to two journalists who witnessed first-hand the fall of the Wall and the crumbling of the Soviet Union.Duration: 01:58
So you call yourself American....but you dont like US democracy? what? I really dont know where your allegiance is...are you sure you are american? because the fact is, the Islamists and the Moslem terrorists want to threaten what the US stands for, so you can take your silly atheist and your silly hippy MAKE LOVE NOT WAR peace ideology and stash it under your bed
It seems that since the fall of the Berlin Wall, no faith is required to see that free market economies provide better living conditions for the poor than do more socialized ones.
It's not a matter of faith anymore. It is a matter of experience.
Won't you learn from history?
Or will you be like the rest of the stupid American voters?
man the english translators have a lot of spit in their mouths...i can hear it moving around and it is annoying

Reagan's rhetoric was very libertarian at times.
But his policies were MUCH less so. So much less that I do not call him a libertarian nor even much of a supporter of limited govt.
And I disagree with his religion and his social conservatism, as most libertarians do.
But when the Beirut embassy was bombed, at least Reagan had the sense to bring all of our troops home. He saw that we had no legitimate mission there.
Bush was MUCH less libertarian than Reagan was.

so then at least you agree Republicans like Reagan were just as contributing to terrorism like, say, LBJ was?
well, THAT is a huge change from most libertarians i meet.

The US is a Republic, not a democracy.
My alegience is to the US Constitution, and to the principles of individual rights which it defends.
WE created the terrorist threat, by violating those principles. We propped up dictators in their countries. That is why they attack us.

US voters gave us Nixon, Bush and Obama.
Need I say more?
Churchill said that the best argument against democracy is a 5 minute conversation with the average voter.
Ben Franklin said that democracy was two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for dinner.
I'm actually an American voter, but I tend to vote Libertarian.
I'm also an atheist, and am opposed to the first use of force against peaceful people.
So I'm the opposite of an Islamist terrorist.
What are you?
