John "Toast" Oast of Fishyaker.com demonstrates how easy and cheap it is to make your own dry storage from a second-hand plastic jar. A great place to store your keys, wallet, cell phone... You can epoxy the airtight container anywhere convenient. Check out Fishyaker's Youtube page for more how-to's.

Afterthought:

Get this, someone stole this OK Malibu Two right out of my yard! If anyone sees it, drop me a line... THANKS!

  • Is it possible to rig out a mallibu two for fishing? I have one here for years doin nothing! That hatch you opened for the jar appears to be well sealed on mine! :( great idea by the way

  • The kayak in the video is an OK Malibu Two. Unfortunately someone STOLE it last summer... :(

The Malibu Two has been a very popular fishing kayak on the west coast for the past number of years. It is stable, and ideal for multipe paddlers. Search "Malibu Two rigging" on the web. You will probably get a ton of hits. Otherwise, email me. Cheers!

  • What kind of glue are you using in all of your videos?

  • I typically use Marine Goop.
