This interview with James Ray was done long before the recent Spiritual Warrior Nightmare where 3 people died. Which makes me think that when you see a high price ticket to transformation, run the other way.

James Arthur Ray was an arrogant sadist. He pushed people to do things that even HE wasn't actively participating in the last three days of the Sedona trip as well as the day of the deaths. He was cold, heartless and it ended up being more about "endurance" exercises rather than "spiritual warrior breakthroughs". However, you do NOT go to prison for ANY of those things. Even Manson is solely in prison for being an accomplice to murder. Ray was an accomplice, not a murder. They had choice.

@jimboedwardlee Wrong! Watch more videos, those with survivors, he locked them in and refused to open the door even people were throwing up, laying down on the ground shaking. The next day he just went to his office like everything were perfect and said to his staff "Say, What a fantastic day, how can I serve you?". He send back half of the money to the victims family that it costed to attend. He would not lose too much him selves on that account. He arranged a new one the week after.

I don't know why Ray is associated with Maxwell Maltz's "Psycho-Cybernetics." This guy is a straight up scam artist and liar. Just read Dr. Maltz's book yourself, skip the middle-men con artists, and change your life. Period.

@jimboedwardlee Right after those people died, he refused to cooperate with the investigating authorities. He proceeded to conduct seminars at luxury hotel conference centers to drum up more business for the same type of retreats he'd been doing all along, two of which ended in death of clients. He was still charging the enormous fees. He was stopped because he went to jail.

@zekeland Good points - he like many humans in the modern world are seeking to delay aging. He is a classic baby boomer

You know what I think.....
It was an accident- There was negligence, there was arrogance, there was carelessness
BUT it was accidental. I cannot imagine besides the victims families NO ONE feels worse about this than Ray. He has lost all of his credibility and his name is mud.
He is probably ashamed to go into the street and he wishes that he had died instead of the others.
That is what I think

This would be hilarious if it weren't so tragic. Need to update the opening "Recently you might have seen James in the Secret Dvd, or more recently on Court TV."

Love your work Kelly, but I'm thinking you should take this video down. It really shows you in a negative light now. It's up to you but I really don't think you need to be associated with J.A.R. in any way shape or form. I see this as a detrimental connection for you.

Check wiki for Ray's REAL "Secret":
A number of people have been severely injured (one even killed) at his previous retreats. Why weren't people warned? As for all his great "wealth":
"Ray himself has touted his wealth, estimated at $10 million in 2009, and success in media interviews and on his Web site. But documents obtained by The Associated Press from the court show Ray is severely in debt with a net worth of NEGATIVE $4.2 MILLION."
You've all been hustled again.

Ray deserves 30 years plus in an Arizona prison. He bastardized D/L/Nakota traditions and he was punished. No hate needed for revenge, just prayer.
