"To create a new standard, it takes something that's not just a little bit different, it takes something that's really new and really captures people's imagination, and the Macintosh, of all the machines I've ever seen, is the only one that meets that standard."
Microsoft founder Bill Gates, 1984

"If I were running Apple, I would milk the Macintosh for all it's worth--and get busy on the next great thing. The PC wars are over. Done. Microsoft won a long time ago."
Steve Jobs, 1996.

  • sure bill got owned.. his company is worth billions more than apple, he poured millions into apple to save them (yes Microsoft owns part of Apple) they didnt boo bill for his products, they boo'd jobs because he needed help from the giant.

go back to myspace little fanboys

  • kushcash Microsoft does not owns Apple parts - 1994 they had deal with microsoft in software sales and lasted one year - after when Steve returned Microsoft invested 150000$ in non-voting shares - remember non voting ones - and it did not save apple because apple invested more than 2 billion - so don't state what you don't know - thus invested money from MS they paid back to apple because of patent infringement :)

  • p.s. and in this video no one owns Nobody

  • @lowdmouse2010 They didn't 'steal' anything. Microsoft got full licensing and approval from Apple to extend the idea of the original personal computer that Steve Jobs found first. When Jobs got fired by a guy that he hired himself, Microsoft had blossomed into the multi-million dollar company you know today. If you were watching the video, you'd know Microsoft was fully behind Apple and weren't competitors back then. Steve and Bill were great friends (and still are) and business partners.

Well i'd like to steal you're ideas and suck you're company dry.

  • I think Steve Jobs and Bill Gates should make a Mac vs. PC commercial. It would be the most epic thing ever.
