  • Wasn't the slant brake designed to minimize barrel raise? I dont see how a design like that could mask the muzzle flash at all...i mean no dis-respect, correct me if i'm wrong

  • Non taken. There is a major design different between a MB and FH. The slant break is just that a break. Though it does "hide" a considerable amount of flash,as you can see in the movie. While not perfect it is what it is, and folks should shoot their rifles with one and with out to totally see the differences!

  • We wont put up with your tongue or your attitude on our channel! Good luck in the PAW, masterbater.

    Bob @ P.A.W

  • 2 quick things 1: i hope you were using safety practices that were not evident and 2:what does p.a.w stand for? thanks.

  • 1- eye and hearing protection wear being worn, and there was a solid backstop? Sorry we did not show off the range facility, we didn't have the lighting available to us at the time the review was filmed.

2- whats "butter finger" stand for?

Sorry, but its just a name, nothing more.

    Bob

  • @boxofrocksful The only body armor that will defeat the 7.62 X 39 is level 3 and 4 both of which have hard plate. Both of these will defeat the 7.62 X 51 NATO as well. That is not "most" body armor. "Most" body armor will fail to defeat virtually any center fire rifle round. As far as the AK being a shitty weapon 10's of millions of satisfied users would disagree.

  • @delta69alpha Was the ak74 style muzzle brake from tapco?

  • The AK-47 was designed to be ultra-durable at reliable at the expense of accuracy. When it comes to jungle fighting with the dirt, grime, moisture, the AK-47 is the undisputed king! It's durable design, big slow deep penetrating bullet and chrome anti-corrosion chamber measures make it better than any 2011+ weapon out there. Now... put the AK-47 in a grass land battle field with longer visibility fire fights and it gets owned bad... Like any other tool, has a best/worse location...

  • slant break ?!, LOL

Its a compensator - the gas preasure push down on the compensator tip

  • @lolKaBooMlol law depends on where you live.... check your local and state laws before modifying anything. NFA rules apply if you modify your barrel to below a certain length, qualifying your weapons as an SBR. Check local, state, and federal laws before doing this... plus you need to go through the ATF and get a tax stamp for it to even be legal.

  • i got a question that might be stupid, but are these muzzle brakes legal without any tax or some law you have to go through?

  • @SheepDogWTX Uh, sorry about that, that was me trying to scroll, can't seem to undo thumbs down. The 74 style break does a good job of reducing the recoil, but 7.62 X 39 is still 7.62 X 39. Any chance you could get an ak-74 to shoot along side a 47? 5.45 has significantly less recoil.

  • @snuffnstuff1 as did you in the truck stop mens room....thanks for the view.

  • @ScopedPewPew "Wow you're a fucking imbecile I said it was a great gun for jungle and urban fighting. "

You've got some anger issues huh? Where exactly is it that you think a large portion of the worlds fighting with small arms takes place??? Uh...yeah....in jungle and urban settings. I'm still waiting for you to tell me which country with an "advanced military" issues the M14 or other 7.62 X 51 rifle to it's regular forces at large, and no, it's not the US, "a few modded M14's"don't qualify.

  • @steve001968 Wow you're a fucking imbecile I said it was a great gun for jungle and urban fighting. Read the whole sentence next time instead of reading the first 3 words. The reason being is that in close combat like that you don't need insane stupid accuracy and it packs quite a bit of stopping power. However at long ranges it suffers due to its poor ballistics of the 7.62x39mm round.

Also, the U.S. has been rolling out a few modded M14s because lots of the gun fights in Iraq are over 500yd

  • I don't know what your point is, you claim it's a "great gun" then spend the rest of the post trying to talk yourself out of it. No country with an "advanced military" standard issues an M14 or any other 7.62 X 51 rifle to large numbers of regular troops either. That said most wars today are not fought by countries with an "advanced military". They are also not fought by countries with limitless defense budgets for small arms that cost 5 times what an AKM does.
