A place to be calm. Begin with slow, deep breaths.
Exhale completely, pushing the air out, even holding the lungs empty for a bit if comfortable before a slow nasal inhalation from deep in the lungs, and holding at the peak for some seconds - this is the nectar of prana, and the delight of pranayama.
