VARY GOOD VIDEO

I do not believe that the British Army is called the "Royal British Army". If I remember correctly it is because the army belongs to the British Parliament.

USA(now JewSA) is a shame of British Empire.
-
@csrtitus You're right. It's a reaction against James II, who was the last king to have a standing army under his personal control. James was run out of Britain for abusing his power, and ever since there has been no 'royal' army.
-
@csrtitus The reason for that dates back to the English Civil War actually.

A great history - and Empire

It is named the British amry as it is a palimentary army not a royal one. And it was a King you went against in the English civil war.
Can you tell me the name of that fife and drum piece in the beginning? I hear it all the time and I don't know its name.

[Pendant alert!] Actually we dont call the Army, the Royal Army. For some reason most regiments have Royal in their title, so the Army is just refered to as the Army.[/Pendant alert!]
Nice vid, thanks for posting.
