As much as I would like to sympathize with his potential past, I am no fan of the spread of misinformation on popular forums, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, political affiliation of disability. Jon continues to post the exact same statement, going so far as to have just uploaded a slide show on how "CO2 can't rise in the atmosphere because of plants". He continues regardless of the citation of several independent CO2 data sets that all show dramatic increase.

Global photosynthesis metabolises additional carbon dioxide to form new life on earth! It build carbohydrates and excrete oxygen. No level rise in free carbon dioxide has been possible for last 650,000 years due to photosynthesis! Man made climate change is fiction by the paid stooges to nuclear power

Pretty sad really. It seems he can generate simple rationale, like 'IL-2 boosts T cell response' and 'T cells kill microbes', thus 'IL-2 can cure AIDS', but lacks the ability to adjudicate simple rational in the face of complex systems. The FDA has solid evidence that IL-2 doesn't cure HIV/AIDS, yet this doesn't stop JonThm from lamenting on the simple rational, which leads him to denial of the evidence. Poor guy.

I looked at JonThm's YT account and blog. Apparently he was an engineer, but was involved in a near fatal car accident, which seems to have cost him some clarity in cognition, yet he still has a credible creative side and imagination. He claims to have found a cure for AIDS via "drips" of Interlukin-2, which he read about in an immunology book. I gather that he is on permanent disability, secondary to loss of cognitive facility, but still has a desire to scientifically contribute to the world.

My PH D was into chemical and process engineering. Two years after the natural climate started cooling. Photosynthesis prevents any builder of carbon dioxide in the air. We get more life on earth!

So either replicated and verified chemical monitoring initiated by one of the premier earth science institutions in the United States (SCRIPPS Oceanographic Institute) is wrong (highly unlikely), or a crazy guy on YouTube who makes up a new lie every time he posts the same garbage about photosynthesis using all available CO2 in the atmosphere is lying through his teeth. I know which option I am willing to bet money on.

Hmm, last time you claimed to have previously pursued a Ph.D wasn't it in Climate engineering (you know, a field that doesn't exist)? What a joke you are. I have cited work by one of the greatest geochemists of the 20th century that shows through detailed measurement, that atmospheric CO2 has risen through out the 20th century (continued work at SCRIPPS shows the trend has only increased). Clearly, regardless of what trash you spout CO2 concentrations have ALREADY RISEN and continue to do so.

I was doing a Ph.D. into Chemical Engineering at Sheffield University in 2000 and. When I found out man made climate change violated basic biological ideas are told to every scientist on this planet in high school!  Photosynthesis metabolises extra carbon dioxide to increased life on earth-no increase of carbon dioxide in the air possible!
