this was my first bike and it treated me very well. anyone who is looking into learning to ride should start on one of these, they are affordable and get you used to shifting, turning, and general road traffic before you get too much power.

  • i got a 2005 ninja Kawasaki 250 same as this one but i saw a tube underneath the bike close to the break it doesn't connect on something its actually 2 tubes sticking together other one was short and it doesn't connect on something and the other one is long and its same thing what is this for? PLS REPLY TO ME THANKS!!!

  • @threestaronesun congrats on your purchase and i'm sure you'll have tons of fun on it. The tubes you are referring to are breather tubes, you can pretty much ignore them if you want (they are on every bike, I have them on my R6). If they are hanging down real low and bugging you, you could snip them off a bit to shorten them up, otherwise no big deal. Stay safe out there and if you have any other questions just message me anytime.

  • picking mine up on saturday. 05 250 with 1700 miles. spotless clean and it came with a helmet and jacket for 2400. it's my first road bike and i can't wait to start riding

  • @Morreese4808 congrats, have fun and stay safe

  • @threestaronesun I know that one of those hoses that runs underneath the Ninja 250 is for the gas tank, and is the breather hose. I may be wrong about the second one, but I think its an emergency relief valve for the coolant reservoir. Haha way for me to reply to you a year later, how's that for youtube viewers?

  • me peronally as soon as i saw the old ninjas (07 and under) i could tell that it was a japenes bike just from th front of it

  • Actually its so weird to believe that its an bike form 2005, it looks so 1980!

xD maybe wierd comment but it just lookl like it, and the same engine is used in the 2008 model, exactly same, nothing has changed :D it keeps being the ultimate beginning bike :D
