Rosanna guitar solo steve lukather

Here's a go at Lukather's solo from Tot's Rosanna.

Another little understated piece that has a crazy little run at the end that takes a bit of practice to master.

I wonder if he just improvised this or made it up in the studio.

great tone and bends were good too but i think u need to work on the legato leading up to the bends when u work on that people will really notice and im not trying to pick on u its just constructive criticism

Yeah you're right. Have a look at my gilmour stuff, TBH I've not put a great deal of work into that solo, just always liked it.

Yep your right, but I can't be arsed to tune up guitars to individual tracks anymore, if they can't play in concert pitch, they can whistle!

How about the closing solo with the brass lead in? That solo is more exciting and challenging (to me)

good except the end of the fast run. :) that whole run can be done w/o moving your hand from that position at all. I did this solo on one of my channels. truthsurge rosannah should pull it up. but even I missed one choke in there and again, playing it w/fingernails instead of fleshy tips doesn't help. also, why is your gain so low? You should have more gain on that solo.
