  • ok, so why dont they turn the traction control on-on the toyota? they turned it off...

  • look at the types of people that buy toyota's and obviously you have to pay 40 to 50k for a truck with the same options as a Ford, chevy, or dodge at 35 to 40k

  • toyota is garbage today, unsafe, overpriced garbage

  • toyota's and nissan's are for yuppies they are made for people who want a truck just in case they ever need one people that really really need trucks for work and to work hard always buy Ford, chevy, gmc, or dodge it is a proven fact just look around you look at FLEET vehicles and people that work out of there trucks for example

  • @rowen211 yes i agree toyota's are for yuppies that go to and from grocery store that dont want a minivan and have a truck just in case they ever need 1 if you want a truck that is made to work hard all day and every day then buy a ford, chevy, or dodge, now all of those truck are made to work and work hard

  • @zyanasak hey guess what they probably turned the traction control off on the chevy also and also chevys had locking rears in there trucks even before the traction controll system was even invented chevys have locking rears on all there truck even 2wd work trucks standard even the ones that dont have traction controll or stability trac so now what is the excuse now i know you will come up with something

  • But the new chevys are very stong and if you blew a tranny and a diff it mustve been a v6 or the 4.8 with the 4l60e tranny and the 8.5 10bolt rearend and i know cuz i work for a dealer and the only case thats happend was when your rolling forward, throw it in reverse and gas it. Thatll fuck up any truck regardless.

The traction system in the chevys are very adept compared to most on the market, better than fords (proven) not bias, and is one of chevys selling points.

    Theyre both great looking a

  • Im a full blown chevy fan always have been always will be, i have an 08 short bed single cab silverado 2wd

    Im not biased however

I think the chevy is gorgeous but id pick the yota in the same nick in looks

Theyre both tough, the yota is probabley better built but lets not forget the not so better price tag

  • sorry all toyota fans, but i dont respect them as a truck maker. I mean they dont even make a diesel or a dually....

  • and I quote,"so that was some chevrolet arranged traction testing..." need we say more.

The Tundra has a number of different traction control settings, if they are manipulated incorrectly you get a video looking like this.

thanks toyota for employing myself and hundreds of thousands of other americans...

  • @rowen211 I don't need to be paid by a company like Toyota to say good things about them. I have owned 5 toyota's two honda's a chevy a mazda a mitsubishi a mercedes and a saab. the only cars I kept are the toyota's. You think I need to convince people not to buy them? I think that History convinced people not to buy them LOL!!! you can sit in a chevy and tap on the dash board and hear the thing wrap in its hollowness. I am a Toyota fan so yes I am biased based on experience. I was a Honda guy.
