Comecei a fazer essa canção para o George Harrison quando soube que ele estava doente, na virada de 2000, pensando em como eu gostaria de oferecer a ele alguma espécie de cura ou consolo. Por dez anos a dedilhei, colocando um pedacinho aqui e ali, até que ela chegou em um ponto mais ou menos definitivo. Não se trata de uma tentativa muito engajada de fazer a letra perfeita, mas tentei colocar um pouco do que ele gostava e do que ele representa para mim. Não sou cantor, nem guitarrista, nem poeta, nem compositor, mas queria oferecer a ele esse carinho. George, my love is forever!
