Drum cover of Slowdown a cover by The Beatles originally from Larry Williams, a favorite singer of John's.
A 12-bar blues written and performed by Larry Williams. Released as a single in 1958, it was a rhythm and blues hit that influenced the growing Rock & Roll movement of the time. It was released as a 7" single (45RPM). The A-Side was "Dizzy Miss Lizzy" and the B-Side was "Slow Down", which were both covered by The Beatles in 1965 and 1964, respectively.
One of the songs I used sing while drumming in the club scene.
Triggering a Ludwig Black or Blue Oyster Pearl kit from Addictive Drums.
Rock n' Roll by Led Zeppelin employs this groove.

Well Sal....U really pluck good & somewhat obscure Beatles tune this time...If I have heard this more then 3 times in my life that might be high! I have 241 Beatles mp3's on my hard drive & this is not one of them! Great Cover & really well played.....Al
