Why are you wasting the effort to argue whether Daughtry or Cook is better? They're both awesome singers, leave it at that so we all don't have to see your pointless debates.

@JayLacelle you must not have Daughtry's second album. It's plenty diverse. And I hate to say it (being a huge David Cook fan), but both of Daughtry's albums are much better than Cook's, especially "Leave This Town". Plenty of diversity, and the songs are just straight up better. Cook's songs in his first album are border-line bland (the album is good, but some of the songs seem to run together and start to kinda sound the same), but I'm thinking his second album will be much better.

@TheSinginggod daughtry is better (this coming from a huge David Cook fan). the reason he MAY not sound as good as Cook (which is opinion most of the time but...) during live performances is because he works tons more dates than Cook. Daughtry is a workhorse, constantly doing shows, and his voice suffers because of it. his voice is constantly tired and worn down. when he's at his best (I saw him live just last week, it was insanely good) he's hard to beat.
