Diesel Queen were a Californian "Shock Rock/Punk" band from the early 90's. I honestly don't know too much about them, except they had an LP and a couple of 7 Inches (maybe more, maybe not). I can tell you this, the subject matter on their releases weren't just shocking, they were HILARIOUS.

If anyone has video of this band PLEASE POST IT! The live pics on the covers of these records I own look like they had a HILARIOUS stage show. People dressed up like Cheese, Pizza, Pornstars, etc. This particular record is a double 7 Inch split with the Insaints, a female front band who's vocalist runs around topless and what not. This was released on Maximum Rock and Roll records.

Under rated and sorta forgotten about band. Again, if you have live footage, please post it!!!

  • this band put on a live show that will forever rank in my top ten ...easily. watching this band gave me the feeling that if the wrong people walked in we were all going to prison. it was like watching GG Allin with less shit, better songs and naked chicks.

i actually KNOW these guys and in spite of that intimate knowledge and knowing that at least one of these guys had no business in show business, i still worship this band for doing right by rock and roll.

Yep. You're absolutely right. I have the LP as well. However, why they would yank an out of print album from a band that is broken up is absolutely beyond me. I seriously doubt this is something they would re-release.

  • @HOC666 This was later released on an lp on Sympathy for the Record Industry. That's why it's getting yanked.

This was actually on Maximum Rock and Roll records, which makes me find it all that more odd that WMG would be an issue. I mean, MRR preached against shit like that for years. I'm wondering if there's a movie with DQ in the title, because there is NEVER any here on the tube.

  • Must be the assholes at Sympathy For the Record Industry...
