to, labohio; i have 4, of the square " Trouble Belll"" in my collection; 27 adaptahorn both Grille, and Projection Horn; 15 270 " old 270 pulls; the old fire and heat thermal detector... some of the newer adaptahorn, 2, of the old 1221 fire panel, many of the old Edward items,,, but the one thing i need is that 1303, or 1302, fire panel with the code wheel attached.. have simplex, wheelock etc... then I"ll make a video .. just need a couple things . Edward is the best, old or new.

By the way, has anyone seen one of the "square" trouble bells that were mounted near the panels? Ours didn't have the light or "buzzer". My guess is they are hard to come by...

THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES! This looks and sounds like the same system that had been retrofitted in the old 1908 high school turned 5-8 that I attended in the mid sixties. Adaptahorns and 270's. It could also be set off by pulling the brass bell in the newer addition. I have obtained all but the panel, so I can "relive" the drills of my youth. My HS had 10" IBM Bells, but all buildings used 4-4 until they upgraded to Simplex horn/strobes.

Hi, when i were in school the 4-4-4-4- code was the thing , an Edward was the only company with this code . I remember the Loud adaptahorn ( fire horns) like 102db an it would shake the hell out you when it sound. Now i own 20 of these horn an i want the same 4-4-4-4-pattern on my Horns

Wow that things pretty neat. I am a huge fan of Edwards. I currently have 5 Edwards bells (4 single stroke 1 vibrating), and 2 270-SPOs. I've been looking for a bell like that in your video and I've also been looking for an Edwards 6500 panel. They had that at my old elementary school, but it was replaced.
