As of June 2007, GoldenEye N64 is officially playable online thanks to the release of the Mupen64K emulator. Okaygo made this all possible! Forget about PJ64K, Mupen64K is the best N64 emulator for online gaming. GoldenEye and Perfect Dark now playable online! Who needs GE on Wii? Not me.

@PablotheCokeEscobar He is the joke? There were many popular FPSs before Golden Eye, you know. Most of which ran smoother, looked better and were just as fun. Team Fortress, Quake, and Duke Nukem 3D (probably missing a few) are prime examples of the multiplayer FPSs before Golden Eye. You are just as ignorant as the person talking about Black Ops.

Split Screen. Back when there WAS no camping... you could just look down at the other players screen and see where the fuck they were at on the map! Or hit them upside the head with the controller. Kids have it too easy these days with there online. And another thing, back in my day we didn't have DLC. We had to run through levels in like 30 seconds to unlock that shit! If you couldn't do it... tough shit, no paintball mode for you!

@Chikunnism i completely agree that there are fps up to the standard of goldeneye and that there were games fps's that were invented before goldeneye that made the trend of fps's today, but in my opinion goldeneye ultimately revolutionised it, it re inovated it in a different manner which adapted the war multiplayer fps would pan out, im sorry call me ignorant but goldeneye might not be the oldest, but it is the grand daddy of fps shooters today

@goldeneyeforevercom Goldeneye Source is the exact same game, just more visually appealing and with physics. Plus you can have more than 16 people playing on a server. I have had some pretty sweet 6 on 6 deathmatch, and it's the exact same experience.
