@RyanStash That's how you made it seem in your video. How do you know that distraction isn't already there? Sexual tension has existed in the military, not to mention everywhere else in society for as long as humans have walked the Earth. The whole Don't Ask Don't Tell law is a joke, can you imagine if they tried to put that kind of a law in place everywhere? Workplace, school, anywhere but your home? People would be chomping at the bit saying how their rights are being trampled.

Funny thing is that I NEVER said "If it gets repealed, it would be a nonstop orgy!" That's ridiculous. So I agree with the point that you made in the video. They are just like the rest of us, they have preference, and some want to wait until they find the right person.
Bottom line, I never made the claim that they would be having nonstop sex. All I'm saying is that it would create a distraction that doesn't need to be there. However that's just my opinion.

That was certainly not the way I intended for people to take it. So I'm sorry if you took it that way. You mention the workplace, and the school, the same concept that it would be a distraction can be applied there as well. I'm not saying it's right, and I'm not sure that this would even happen. However thats why I think it is there, not for the "You don't get to be who you are" reason, but for the distraction reason. The affect of the law being repealed will eventually show, IF there is one.

@RyanStash That is how I took it, that's why I got so mad, lol
Distractions are going to be there for both heterosexuals and homosexuals, the law of Don't Ask Don't Tell only says that they aren't allowed to admit it and nobody is allowed to ask, it doesn't prevent the distractions. All it does is tell one set of people that they can't be who they are for no reason other than prejudice. Sorry, I feel really strongly about people being allowed to be who they are, that's why this law pisses me off

@MuppetsRfUN I can see why you got so mad then :P. Yea I understand your point of view on this matter and it's clear to me that you have strong feelings regarding the issue, which is good to see in today's "Don't really care" style of living.

@RyanStash Too many people have the "Don't really care" way of thinking, and then there are the few folks that bitch about it, but do nothing to fix things. And then we have the VERY few who actually do try to change the world for the better. We need more people like that last group, lol
