Enjoy the videos. I am taking a break while I travel and reorganize my material. Until I get back, the comments have been turned off to keep the trolling down to a minimum while I am not here to moderate them. I hope you all understand and I promise I will be back with plenty of new material one I finish relocating and reorganizing.

Quit yappin about boycotting oil companies. Do something meaningful.

If I have my numbers right. 1 acre of hemp in 4 months makes about 1,000 gallons of seed fuel (not counting cellulose pulp for paper and and other products and fiber for fabrics and other products)

the US is using about 375,000,000 gallons of fuel a day which comes out to about 45,000,000,000 gallons every 4 months. Which would require 45,000,000 acres to produce. The United states currently has about 2.26 billion acres of farmland. Not only enough land but from the same fuel crops we also get cellulose and fiber without cutting down trees or growing cotton.

I know I am gonna get heat from all sorts of directions on this but I only have 30 minutes and I am trying to cover a topic effectively while also making a video which is actually watchable for 30 min. So some things got cut out.

I know my depiction of potheads is overgeneralized and stereotypical. I cut out the parts about pot not being a dangerous drug because of time constraints and because it's ultimately off topic.

My point is still that this message needs to be delivered by people who are not stereotypical looking stoners. I think as far as PR is concerned that is counter productive. There are people out there who are very anti marijuana and that is a separate issue which we need to distance hemp from. The marijuana issue is hurting the hemp issue by association and whereas marijuana has legitimate uses for medical and recreational use, it's still a taboo subject of vice and is standing in the way of industrial hemp which is not a drug and the prohibition of is costing us an incalculable price in environmental, financial, legal and labor losses.

I think there comes a time when there are discussions which we want taken somewhat seriously. Even if they are coming out of me. If I were going to sit down with someone to talk about this issue and wanted to be taken seriously by someone with some actual power to make a difference, I would wear a suit and loose the stainless steel so they can hear the words as apposed to get distracted by the symbols they may or may not understand.

Most of the time I won't do that. I figure if people wanna talk to me they can accept me as I am but sometimes certain issues are larger than us. I know they are larger and more important than my ego. So if I were given the opportunity to do something positive regarding this issue, I think it would be selfish of me not to put my fashion baggage aside and do whatever it takes to make as much of a difference as I can.

Having said that, if you are one of those weed users who is indistinguishable from the crowd, great. Happy days. On the other hand if you are a 19 year old white kid with red swollen eyes, wearing Rastafarian colors, a Bob Marley shirt and dreads, I can't imagine your image having anything but a negative effect during a town hall meeting full of ranchers and politicians.

The point here is very simple. Hemp is not marijuana and it will replace oil without the harmful repercussions of crude oil. It needs to be a legal crop for food, clothing, industry and fuel. If you are outraged by the oil industry, the solution is right there.

Hemp grows faster and far more densely than any other bio fuels and doesn't harm the soil or raise food prices. Hemp produces far more usable material per acre than any other crop and doesn't require the kinds or fertilizer, pesticides and equipment other bio fuels require. This adds up to a very cost effective replacement for food, fiber and oil.

If you ignore this answer, you seriously need to quit complaining about the price of gas and oil spills.

Oh an calm down, I don't hate hippies. As bad for hemp PR as they are lol I actually lived in the 60's an hippies are just fine in my opinion I grew up round lot's of them but hippie is a funny word so I like raggin on em :)
