Nice review bud. Personally I loved the first issue and thought it did a great job of setting up the characters as well as moving the story forward. My only real gripe is that all the turtles wear red eye masks instead of their different coloured ones but it's nothing that has stopped me enjoying the book. I'm so glad the UK finally got the rights sorted to have these sold here. I picked up all 6 plus the Raph one off and am 3 issues in so far and loving it. :-)

@destructionsnakepit well, as far as the red masks go: that is how the turtles have always been portrayed in the comics. the different colours were brought in for the original tv show. you will be happy to know that they are now wearing the different colours, and at first i was mad, but it really does make identifying them a little easier.

eBay probably is the best solution rite now, unless you can find an online dealer to get a subscription from.

I saw all those variant covers but I end only getting the Kevin Eastman cover. =D

My store is too small to order huge amounts to get the variant covers so I ended up getting almost all of them on eBay. Good review. I really enjoyed the art and writing and am really looking forward to the next issue. I agree it could of been longer but oh well. I hope this series sticks around longer than 20 some issues.
