  • verry nice flight.pls answer if u dont mind.i just complete the pilot certificate in uk CP and im about buying a hang glider so im asking u is there a longer flight with a rigid wing like athos or aeros compare to a flexibale wing? thx

  • The Rigids have a better sink rate which one light days can make a flight longer. But I would not recommend a Rigid as a first or 2nd glider. Not because it's hard to fly but because of the money lost in the event of a crash. Develope your decision making skills before you invest $20,000.00 in a glider.

  • how long of a flight did you have?

  • It was about a 20 minite sled run. It wasn't soarable that late in the evening. I now have 48 hours of time on the VQ.

  • how well does the Atos VQ launch with winds of 10 mph or less, without being towed? thank you

  • Well this launch was in a 2mph wind... so that should tell you something. I have no problems. I also have foot launced it while towing in little or no wind and it does great there too.
