A true Sunderland hero. He played over 600 games for Sunderland and he was cross eyed as well. not may cross eyed goal keepers can say they pulled off a save like that.

I find it funny that watching another Jim Montgomery video, he made an even better save against Blackpool previous to this match but no cameras were present.

I couldn't believe he could do better than this?!

Easy one of the most amazing saves that I've ever seen. Strangely I hadn't heard about it before. I just seached Sunderland + FA Cup final as I've ordered the "Stokoe, Sunderland and 73" book. It does indeed deserved far more credit. Thanks for uploading!
