@KYRIAKI61 Very true, I am in the same position, Public transport is extortionate, yet they expect everyone to travel by public transport. Food is going up in price, hand over fist too. Yet they still manage to cough up an initial 15 to 17 Billion (Provided it does not run over budget like the Channel Tunnel did) on the new HS2 line. With another 30 to 40 Billion spent on extending the line to Leeds and Liverpool. The total time saved by travelling on the HS2? Just 45 minutes... Is it worth it?
