It was a spin-off, they should have given it a different name.

@danz451 He was in the first few episodes of season 9, but left. The last time he ever appeared on Scrubs was in the ninth episode of that season, titled 'Our Stuff Gets Real".

thats why the guy put the medical thing when the xray flashes.
