Shiiiooooot! Why should it matter what native language anyone sings in their songs? If it rocks your world, buy it! Look at all of the Americans who can't speak spanish but love the Macarena (which isn't totaly sung in english as I recall). Or all of the metal heads who can't speak german but listen to Ramstein? (Laughs)!
As for the singer? He was probably inspired by old Kai Hansen in Helloween.
I read a profile that states that this entire band was influenced by german metal bands.

wow what a voice he sounds like the stratovarious lead singer or old kai hansen from helloween. Do they sing anything in english will definately buy their stuff if they do.
